Formerly the Florida Society of Pain & Neuroscience, the Southeastern Society of Pain Intervention was established to further advance the study and practice of interventional pain management. SSPI is dedicated to identifying, studying, and testing the highest-level treatment options, and seeks to ensure that all practitioners within the field have the knowledge and skills to provide the best outcomes for their patients.
The field of interventional pain management is progressing at a rapid pace and insurance providers, educational institutions, and credentialing bodies are slow to adapt. SSPI seeks to help close the gap through independent research and data collection, and supplemental education and training for the next generation of pain physicians.
The Southeastern Society of Pain & Neuroscience is dedicated to advancing the field of interventional pain medicine through research and education.
Participate in Groundbreaking Research SSPI initiates and facilitates IRB funded investigator-initiated trials and research projects to establish best practices for safety and efficacy.
Gain Access to Cutting-Edge Education SSPI is dedicated to preparing practitioners to provide the most advanced interventional pain management for their patients.
SSPI consists of an Executive Board, Directors at Large, and members. As the organization grows,
